A genuine reclaimed oak beam dating from around the 16th century , approximately 7.8 feet long and 11.0" x 3.0" (approx. 279 x 76 mm).

This is a decorative reclaimed timber piece with exceptional natural character, including a distinctive curved edge, aged surface, natural cracks, old holes, grain variation and marks from its previous life.

The curved edge is one of the main features of this particular beam and would make it an excellent choice for a feature console table, fireplace surround, shelving, wall feature or other interior project.

For customers who would like to enhance the grain and texture even further, the beam can be wire brushed. It can then be finished with your own choice of suitable oil, wax or wood finish, allowing you to create the appearance that best suits your interior.

This is a decorative reclaimed beam and is not sold as structural or load-bearing timber.

Each reclaimed beam is unique. Natural cracks, splits, knots, holes, irregular edges, colour variations and other signs of age should be expected and are part of the character of genuine reclaimed oak.
